Children’s Show Choir

A show choir is a great opportunity for the student who loves to sing
and also has a lot of energy! In this class children will have the opportunity
to learn the joy of ensemble singing along with dancing, costumes, and props.

Rock Shop

Anyone who has tried to start a band of their own knows how hard it is
to get off the ground. This class is a great opportunity for students
to learn how to choose appropriate music, delegate responsibilities within
the band, run a productive rehearsal, and finally get that band up and running.

Children’s Chorus

This class offers children an opportunity to enjoy learning and
performing popular songs. Young singers learn to perform
as part of an ensemble, develop stage presence, and experience live performance.

Jazz Vocal Workshop

This adult workshop offers singers an opportunity to work with a
live band to develop their skills in improvisation,
styling, phrasing, and live performance.

Jazz Instrumental Workshop

This adult workshop offers instrumentalists an opportunity to develop
their skills in ensemble playing, improvisation, soloing,
styling, phrasing, And live performance.

Introduction to Music Theory

This course offers the basics in music theory: reading and understanding
music, chords, progressions and scales.

Ear Training Basics

This course offers a basic introduction to chord formation, harmony, and sight singing.

Vocal Festival 2009 Singing And Performing For All Ages

Grades 3 - 11 (junior in high school) will participate in music theater ensembles, solos, preparation for auditions for performance oriented schools, movement, theory and sight singing classes - includes one private half-hour lesson a week. Final Concert and production of Menotti's “Chip And His Dog”.

Adult (senior in high school and above) will participate in opera ensembles, opera choruses, and solo singing with emphasis on acting, interaction, and musicality: includes one half-hour lesson a week.

Something Magical is coming to CenterStage this Fall...

Magic Workshop for Little Wizards & Sorcerers

Ages 7 -12

Children learn the basic elements of magic as a part of a fun and interesting curriculum
designed to foster confidence and self-esteem, and improve stage presence and communication,
all while learning about the great Magicians and the tricks that made them famous.

The class will participate in a live magic show along with
professional Magicians at the conclusion of the workshop.


CenterStage’s professional faculty members, advanced students
and ensembles are available to perform at public and private events.
